Hi all

I found the Fav Icon (the little picture /icon that will be saved to your desktop if you make it a favourite or bookmark it) and followed all the steps - it told me that it had loaded successfully but it is nowhere to be seen when i go to my new site its not visible!!
Agggggggggggghhh!
has anyone else had this experience or suggest the next step to see it or activate it??

i have started with some tier 2 pages and know that i have not text yet but i have started at least and the pressure of having blank pages will work its wonder this week and pressure me into writing something!

I checked your site and i saw this little (sledge) hammer? So, it works!

I know I just said I got in in 5 minutes. However, I don't see the effects on my own computer.

Does anyone else see the favicon on my site?

I suspect I need to clear my browser's cache. How is that done?

Hi Bert, I can see you your favicon. It's the globe from your header.

thanks all for that help - i guess it looks like you just cant see your own Icon!! oh well - i guess the purpose is for everyone else to see it so that is the main thing.

the instructions and suggested programme on SBI did work after all but thank you all for the input - it really was simple to do and does make your site more professional if its bookmarked to a desktop as it has your logo or stamp on it which is GREAT!
