I witnessed that above your newsletter subscription box, it says "Expert Ezine articles author"
So basically what I want to ask form you what is your experience with ezine.com?
Have you written one or more articles yet, and have it paid off traffic-wise?
Any other suggestions and tips on article submissions and/or ezinearticles.com in specific are most welcome, i will start using it soon, or rather: I will start using articlemarketer.com (any experience with that as well?)
Another question: On your newsletter subscription page, you got a picture of a box with a dog and the name of your book included. How did you get or make this?
Love & Light,
Bentinho
Benthino,
The picture I got from a eZine page that I was referred to when they approved of 4 articles that I sent in.
Traffic has increased since so I'll continue using eZine (you can monitor how many times your article was viewed on their site) and wait until I have more articles before using articlemarketer. Though let me know what your thoughts are about this. Using a paid service for only 4 articles I think is not enough value for money.
The picture took me quite some time to create as I have no experience with graphics, so it was a bit of trial and error project (used to only crop and resize photo's for lilama).
I had the book cover in Word, copied it to a graphics program and used a perspective horizontal function, set it to 20% if I remember correctly. The backside I had also in Word, copied it to the graphics program and used the same function then with -20%.
Then I glued to two pictures together.
It's not the same look as the professionals but for the time being good enough so I can at least show something.
Notice the text is hardly readable, my name is not readable at all.
There are paid software tools for this. Though buying them for the first free bee; I chose not to do that.
Alternative would be asking someone who has this software to make it for you for a fee.

There is a free version as well, though it doesn't send your articles to as many publishers as the paid version, it still sends it to more than just one publisher (which is the case with ezinearticles.com). I intend to use that version first, and then if it is succesful, upgrade to the paid version, and then your written articles in the free version are automatically distributed to the entire list once you upgrade.
But about the ezine traffic, when you go to stats, and you click on last month (august in this case) you get the detailed traffic stats page, with info on entry pages, exit pages, total page views per page, keywords etc. There is also a section shwoing you all the links from which your visitors have been referred. Do you have many visitors coming from your ezine articles?
About the box picture: Ok, I just wanted to know if you made it yourself or if there was some kind of trick to it. I will then use photoshop to make it myself as well. Thanks for the info!
Bentinho
Thanks for the tip there is a free version. I'll try.
Good luck with Photoshop. Do you have experience using it?
The entry from ezine wasn't much: only 5 pageviews.
Though there was a boost in traffic those days, unique visitors went up to 70 for a few days and now it's back to where it was: 50.
I have some experience using photoshop, though very basic. I used to make some sweet designs and logos, but I think I lost touch with it. I made my logo, though that was just a simple matter of photo editing. But I have created some cool logos out of thin air. Never really touched it for a year, and I was only a beginner back then, so now I am a beginner who is out of touch.
Ok, strange how the traffic is so constant uh? At least, I think it's pretty ackward that I have about 30 unique visitors everyday. At times I have the same amount of unique visitors three days in a row. 28 28 28 for example.
Hi Barbara and Bentinho,
Do you check on visitors in SBI or in Google?
I am unable to verify my Google account because I don't understand the instruction they give me to either upload a file ( to where??) or install an meta tag ( how?) I posted those questions on the SBI forum, so I might be able to get it done soon (I hope). First time ever I regrett not being a computer wizz

but enjoying building a site anyway.
Is checking SBI visitors good enough for the time being?
Joy
ps I posted two articles on ezine, I felt it was pretty easy to do that. they are still checking them
SBI is excellent at checking your traffic stats. It tells you how many visitors came from where, where they entered your site, where they left it, through what keywords they found you, etc. I don't use google for that.
I don't know about the uploading a file thingy, sorry.
