Hi all,

Today I reached 30 pages, though not all of them are true content pages (eZine form holder page, contact form page, disclaimer etc) but nevertheless I reached the first milestone.

I am inviting you to come and have a look at http://www.best-dog-food-guide.com and then please return to this thread to share your thoughts, comments, ideas, etc.

For instance about the following:
What do you think about the look&feel, about the tone-of-voice, and about the disclaimer and privacy policy (I'm feeling this makes the site less friendly but on the other hand... there is medical information present on my site and there will be much more, so therefore I decided to put the disclaimer online)? Also I'm wondering whether some parts are easy to understand (for instance the Dog Allergy page and specifically the tier 3 on Dog Allergy Types). Do you think the website is desperately missing specific dog brands or dog food manufacturers? I'm planning to write about this, but so far I have avoided this so as to emphasize on my objectiveness.

Thanks for sharing.

See you at the free coaching session!

Barbara
Wow pretty impressive, it looks very proffessional immediately. Well done with the lay-out, design, and the way you organize your text.
Hi Barbara,

I've had a look at your site some time ago and girl.... you're the one who inspired me to jump-start with my own site.

It looks great; the text, the pictures....you are a real expert to me!

It's punctual, clear written and although i know nothing about dogs at all, your knowledge is jumping of the screen!!

I hope you will continue this path and be an example for all of us. Not only with your website but also with your coaching part at this forum. In my opinion you are much more ahead with the implementation of the information, both the technical as well as the content-part.

Well done!
Hi Barbara,

30 pages is an great accomplishment! good for you!

I check in on your website reguarly while working on mine because I actually love the design you use, the easy colours and the pictures of dogs. I enjoy ready on dogfood even when I have never owned a dog in my life! I feel you have done a great job making your site so personal. I absolutely love it and have copied your footer idea about the medical information. I should not worry about that at all. I believe it is a good thing to do.

The only think I don't like is all the pages at the bottom. The links to the other pages. I know they recommand it in the program I just feel it is overdone but hey when it serves a purpose it must be worthwhile.
lets listen to Ken right?!

Maybe you can explain me how you got rit of the nevbars. We worked on that last night but I couldn't get it to be just text...

so to sum it up, I can not find anything yet that is wrong with it!
love

Joy,

You can actually choose to have a table of contents at the bottom of the homepage, or a navbar at the left side or both. I choose to have both.

Can you post your question about the navbar as a separate thread in the Questions section and elaborate a bit on it since I'm not fully sure what your actual question is. Getting rid of the navbar on third tier you mean or..... if that's the case: it's an option you choose when setting up a new page (so per page choice).
