RE: Your questions: July 14

I have now 8 tier 2 pages.
How do I make tier 3 pages?

How do I write better and quicker CONTENT??

Should I leave an email address on my site for people to contact me.? Or is that asking for spam and trouble??
Greetings from Marguerite

Note: Maybe this is not the right topic to discus these questions?

Greetings from Marguerite

1: A Tier 3 page doesn't differ in structure from a 2nd tier page, the only difference is that you disable the option :"Put this page on your navbar" on the top of every page you create. You should opt it out.

BUT: leave: "put navbar on this page" on.

So now you got a page similar to your 2nd tier pages, but this page does not appear on your navbar on the left of your site.

So now you can write the content and create your 3rd tier page in the same way you built your 2nd tier page.

When you are finished doing so, you can edit the 2nd tier page under which you want your newly created 3rd tier page to be. On this 2nd tier page you type:

Quote:
Title-of-your-3rd-tier-page

And a link to your 3rd tier page will appear on your second tier page.

You can also use:"create a text link block" to make a link. If you use many links on one page, I advice you to use my first example.

How to write better and quicker content?

Practice..

Should I leave an email address on my site for people to contact me.? Or is that asking for spam and trouble??

You can create a contact form like this:

http://www.yoga-mind-control.com/contact-us.html

Then people can submit and you will receive an email.

I would not recommend leaving your email adres on your website, but that's personal. If you have an email adress specifically for this purpose, then of course you can put it on your website.

If you want to create such form but don't know how, let me know.

Bentinho

RE: Your questions: July 14

questions for july 14th:

1. How do I edit my homepage? I seem unable to change the text in the header, add capital letters and get it centred. I am overlooking something ( probably a lot!)

2. where to get grafics and how to upload them?

that's it for now but I will keep running into stuff I just don't get.

thanxs, see you saturday
love

RE: Your questions: July 14

Somewhere on the right side on your sitesell central, there is a bar saying: "EDIT SBI Home Page"

click it and enjoy.

You can go to "Look and feel selector" in site central, and then you can change your site's appearance. If the skins presented there automatically are not in your favour, there is a link saying something like: "Click here for much more schemes" and download the parts you like. If it doesn't work, someone will show you exactly how to do all this on saturday, assuming you are coming?

greetings,
Bentinho

RE: Your questions: July 14

Go to Nisandeh's course "How to write a book in 28? days!" Big Grin

Or just keep practicing..

Is it the english that makes it so long for you? or are you being too perfectionistic about your pages maybe..? If it is the first case, I can only say keep on writing, look up the words that you use alot for your website in the dictionary.

If it is perfectionism.. Don't be! Just let go and keep on writing, don't structurize your text right away, just keep on writing whatever comes to mind. Then when your text feels finished, you can re-read your page and edit is and structurzie it for your customers. Then press analyze it and SBI will tell you exactly what to change from the SEO-perspective.

Don't try to make a perfect webpage when all you got is 2 lines on the paper.. It stagnates the flow of info coming form the subconscious or from wherever you are getting it Wink. Just keep the info flowing, keep on writing... afterwards you can make it perfect.

RE: Your questions: July 14

Hi Nisandeh

The problem that I have is that have difficulty to determine what keywords I should use in my website. I find it difficult to interpret the results of the vertical en latheral searches. I think that if I could sit with someone behind a PC and do the searches it would be a great help.

My keywords were golf handicap. We used them sometimes during the course. The output of the searches during the course showed that there were possibilities to continue on this track. On the other hand I saw that there wasn't much variety in relating keywords. So I changed and now I am in the market for golf tips which gives me a broather range of connecting keywords. This leads to a more interesting site. Nevertheless I am not sure so I need some guidance in this matter. Is golf tips a niche or not.

Help !!!!
