RE: Your questions: July 14

Hello everyone,

I think about setting up a website on happiness. A URL could be http://www.-find-happiness.com. I brainstormed keywords, looked on the web for happiness pages and did some keyword optimization using wordtracker. I thought about splitting the content up in the subthemes:

Personal financial management
Healthy relationship building
Living a healthy lifestyle
Healing emotions
Problem solving and decision making
Work-life balance
Behavior modification
Religious belief model

My idea is to give information on each subtheme, then provide links to related sites with a personal summary/evaluation of their content. Furthermore, I'd like to link to product and (coaching) services that are part of affiliate programs.

Now I wonder whether I should pursue this idea or narrow down to one subtheme and make it my website main theme. All subthemes have high potential traffic according to overture.

If I do all themes, should I do a supply/demand analysis for all of them in SBI, or just for "find happiness"?

Nisandah, I am also interested in how to write content in a CAPTIVATING way. Could you give me a few tips: should I use short and clear sentences or detail my sentences with adjectives, use personal words rather than general, repeat keywords perhaps? Thanks!

See you tomorrow!

Love Menno

RE: Your questions: July 14

Hi Nisandeh,

My question concerns the way to deal with the keywords also. Because in my field poeple seem to look for the problem, when what they really want is an idea or solution. I have trouble putting them in the right place for my website structure. Also: do I have to name the pages as the keyword they relate to? Where do they go?
My structure on the keywords does look quite different from one that I made about solutions. I would like to have a little time to sit with someone going over this challenge.

SBI advises you to start writing on the easy keywords. When is a keyword easy? From what they say, I think it's easy if the page will start attracking a lot of traffic very soon. But will the pages that have high demand and high supply do that soon? Should it not be better to choose keywords that have a lower supply (but still quite high) and also lower demand? My keyword list has a lot of keywords with high demand that also have high supply. Ho do I choose form these keywords the easy ones?

So far i've been hooked on the possibilities and speed of doing research with SBI tools. It's superb, gives me a lot of inspiration.

See you tomorrow,

love Karen

RE: Your questions: July 14

Hi Nisandeh,

I have been working on my site structure (see pdf-link below) and would really like your feedback.
Suggested Site Structure for Event and Party Planning

I would also like your feedback on the content of my homepage and blog:

  • Does the text on my homepage need any improvements?
  • Is it too personal?
  • Does it make any sense to you considering my topic?
  • Is it too much to put a picture of myself on my homepage?

And then I would love to know some more about:
  • Using the right keywords
  • Tips on writing in a captivating way (good idea Karen)
  • Tips on writing quality content faster other than the obvious 'practice - pratcice - practice' ...
Thanx and see you tomorrow!

Tina

Hi Nisandeh,

I tried to build my homepage with some graphic, but it did not work out right yet.
Maybe I can sitdown woth someone who did this.

i am sure I can work it out, but some help would e wonderfull.

furthermore I am struggling on how to use any email adresses. Different, same or none adresses for regular email, website and blog?

I did not do the full SBI action guide yet, but I guess there will be plenty to learn for me today, so i will be there.

see you,
Winnie
