RE: Tina's website and blog
Hi all,
I have also changed my site's look over the weekend and added some content. I will be getting there slowly but surely.
I have a question: I have the strong urge to make the 'framework' of my site first. I mean: make most of the tier 2 pages with some initial content about what is going to be in there later on. Then of course I will complete them as soon as possible but I have my main navigation already visible and in order. And people will know what to expect when they visit my site.
Is it OK to do that? Or do I only add a tier 2 page when I have really completed the content per page?
Thanx!
Tina

RE: Tina's website and blog
Tina,
You can put a tier 2 online without having a tier 3, but as your site is composed on lists only (apart from the homepage) I would choose to add content before adding more tier 2's like this. Depend also on the speed at which you think you'll get to creating content of course. In the beginning you're site is in the dark anyway, so who would notice?
When you look at the planning Nisandeh handed out on the last day of the course you'd notice that you first choose few tier 2's, then add tier 3's and only later start adding the other tier 2's. So it doesn't start with the complete picture / framework. But you can always choose to do otherwise of course.

T2 or T3, I add T2's but don't add links yet to T3 pages what I don't have yet. My T2 pages are almost ready, then I contact somebody who could check my spelling and then I'll go over to add all T3 pages and fix the links to them. Does that mater if I do it this way??

RE: Tina's website and blog
Hi Attila,
That's the right way I think.
When I create a T2, I write it in such a way it can stand on it's own for a short or longer period of time.
Then as I develop the tier 3's I go back to the T2 and add the link. Sometimes I need to do a little maintenance to the T2 but as I'm working with a plan I usually know what T3's will go below the T2.
