number of searches dropped dramatically

Hi there,
Still somebody there?
I have been building my website and last week I checked wordtracker of Google again for the main keyword of my website:Chinese Acupuncture. And the number of searches dropped from 320 when I started my site to 61 now!
Google changed this page and I cannot find if this number is still about the last 90 days or not. So I checked some other keywords and 'acupuncture' dropped from 2400 to 1600. And for instance 'canine acupuncture' went up.
I was very surprised that the keywords people search change so much for such an ancient subject as chinese acupuncture. The good news is that there are new keywords to make pages on but I am worried about the drop of my main keyword. Should I be? I'm afraid "chinese acupuncture" isn't such a good subject for a website homepage any more. Is there somebody who had the same experience?

Kind regards,

Karin

I just want to share with you my enthousiasm about MY FIRST MONEY made through my website. I have worked so hard these last few months to get the subjects for the next page right. Everytime I walked the dogs, new ideas came in view and, I had to hurry home to put them to my PC.
Fortunately they're small dogs, teckels, so they did not mind the shortcuts.....
And thanks to Yvonne who helped and encouraged me, and shared the thrills, I was steadily going from 63rd place to 24th place and even better on certain items.
And yes, I made my first money when an order was placed last week, which I received with: "I am a money magnet, thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!"

Since I started in the PIO weekend with an English site, I concentrated these past months on the Dutch version. Now, feeling so confident, I find that focussing on the first one, is a piece of cake.

Uploading pictures is the next issue and starting a webshop. There is just no end to this exciting way of "doing business".

Just wanted to let you know.

Hi
i am getting SBI to analyse each page on its creation before building it but i cannot seem to get higher than a 6/10 for my file names whatever i seem to write!!

it continually says the following:

'There are extra characters after the Specific Keyword that you entered into the FILE NAME box.

Remove these so that the FILE NAME contains only your Specific Keyword. If that would result in the same FILE NAME as another page, and if you have made a good alternative (see the help), it is acceptable to leave this "as is."

Importance? Recommended 6/10'

there are absolutely NO extra characters that i can see so what should i do to increase my rating from 6/10?
i would be appreciative of any tips for these file names

thank you

Hello PIO-ers,

Wanted to let you know that I have just recently received my first 25$ on affiliate bussiness. Somebody ordered a Teacher Meditation Course on line, through a link of mine, and I get 25$ now.

Also, I have made approximately 43$ on Google adsense, with a current average of 1 dollar a day. This is not yet enough to fully finance my stay in India, but it is getting close. If I manage to triple my google adsense income and add some more affilate programs, I can finance my stay there. (it'll cost me 2-5 dollar a day to survive there).

Greetings,

Alot of my 3rd tier pages have a google pagerank of 2, some of 1. Some of my well-visited, high-ranked 3rd tier pages even have a pagerank of 3!

Anybody else got updated by google pagerank? I saw Barbara her site has been updated as well, nice! I guess every site got an update.

It am very happy that we went through SBI- stuff behind a computer together and have looked over the site structure together.
thanks!
Because we were looking over things with 3 pairs of eyes I now have managed to sort it out more secure and am very happy with the results.

Good or Silly Idea for extra traffic?

Hello everyone, I just checked another keyword that seems to be massively searched for. Around 8000 searches each day, with only 133,000 competitors :D.

If I check that keyword in freekeywords.wordtracker.com, I find that there are multiple versions of that keyword. For example, if the keyword would be:

"Guitar Hero download" and it has 5000 keyword searches daily, and the second highest keyword search is:
"Guitar Hero mp3" with 2000 searches a day and the third is:
"Guitar Hero in audio" with 1000 searches a day.

What if I only have one version of the Guitar Hero song ('Guitar Hero' is fictional, just for example) that I can give away for download, but I would still like to create three or more pages based around these keywords, one page for each keyword, to maximize incoming traffic.

It would be stupid to my visitors if I have three links on a second tier page that all three of them have slightly different content because they are based around slightly different combination of keywords, although very similar and pointing to the same link with the Guitar Hero song for download. That would look stupid. But still, I want the traffic..

So what if I create these three pages and optimize each of them for one of these specific combinations of keywords, but put only a link on a second tier page pointing to the highest searched for of these three pages. Then leave the two other pages unpublished on my main site.

But then how can google index these pages? Well, I could create a blog post and put these links somewhere in the end of a post. I would not care about that, people would probbaly not make any real use of it, unless I also optimize the blog page for Guitar hero Downloads, but this way, google will sooner or later find these pages and yet they will not show on my mainsite. And they will still be indexed even when my blog post is long forgotten.

So this way, I could be on the highest position of google, or at least at the first page, for all three of those specific keyword combinations, because I got three different pages dedicated to the same audio file, only optimized specifically for a specific combination.

What do you think? I will try it as soon as I have the audio file.

Hi all,

I have found a way to include the logo of my newsletter into the opt in box on my website where visitors enter their name and address.

It looks like this (see bottom of page):
http://www.communication-skills-only.com...ement.html

How did I do this?
When you include an opt-in e-zine block you change the label 'Enter your E-mail Address' into a little piece of html, like:

Subscribe now!Enter your E-mail Address

I had to play around a little with the size of my news letter logo, but I'm happy with the result.

Number 32 might not seem that high, but I'm happy with this result after about 5 months. When you search in google for Best Dog Food my site is (today) at number 32 (so officially non-existent) out of.... 128 million!!! Quite a lot of competitors. So yes... I'm happy.

And the blog is back at number 1 (when searching for Dog Food Blog). Main competitor is the person who tried to sell me a website for 25K the other day.

According to WordTracker 970 searches daily comprise the words Best Dog Food (225 for an exact match).
In contrast.... only 10 daily searches look for the word Dog Food Blog (5 for an exact match).

Made $21.47 from Google AdSense in 16 days.

1st Tier page Yoga Mind Control #1 in Google!

If you type in Yoga Mind Control (which is the name of my first tier page) you'll see I am the very first result on the first page out of 2.2 million results. And my blog shows at position 5 and 6.

If you type in yoga mind control blog (which is the name of my blog) you see that the entire first page is dominated by my website, except result 8 and 9, as 8 results refers to my mainsite or Blog mainsite, albeit directly or indirectly through a directory.

I also got alot of keywords for which I am placed first in google. SBI Works! That's for sure.

For example, I created a new page just 2 or 3 weeks ago, in I think 15 minutes at most, a relatively small page, and out of 78.000.000 results, my webpage appears at the first page of google for the keywords: Free from desire. This is just one of many examples I could give.

On a side note: I earned 9 dollars and 2 cents from google adsense at the moment of writing this.

Goodluck to the rest of you, I will continue along the same path by creating more valuable content pages and therefore more entry-doors from google into my website.
